Summary

Sarah J。 Maas's sexy, richly imagined audio experience continues with the journey of Feyre's fiery sister, Nesta。

Nesta Archeron has always been prickly-proud, swift to anger, and slow to forgive。 And ever since being forced into the Cauldron and becoming High Fae against her will, she's struggled to find a place for herself within the strange, deadly world she inhabits。 Worse, she can't seem to move past the horrors of the war with Hybern and all she lost in it。

The one person who ignites her temper more than any other is Cassian, the battle-scarred warrior whose position in Rhysand and Feyre's Night Court keeps him constantly in Nesta's orbit。 But her temper isn't the only thing Cassian ignites。 The fire between them is undeniable, and only burns hotter as they are forced into close quarters with each other。

Meanwhile, the treacherous human queens who returned to the Continent during the last war have forged a dangerous new alliance, threatening the fragile peace that has settled over the realms。 And the key to halting them might very well rely on Cassian and Nesta facing their haunting pasts。

Against the sweeping backdrop of a world seared by war and plagued with uncertainty, Nesta and Cassian battle monsters from within and without as they search for acceptance-and healing—in each other's arms。

Sara

Not happy with how Nesta was treated in the second half of this book, and the rest of the characters just barely redeemed themselves in the end。 Ending felt quick and a bit sloppy。

I loved this book! It is probably my favorite of the series。 I loved watching Nesta work through all her trauma。 Cassian is also my favorite of the bat boys。 I do think there should have been a trigger warning for traumatic birth though。

“So live, Nesta Archeron。” this adaptation literally gave me chills。 i will forever adore nesta’s story。 and cassian is the most perfect person in the whole world。 “keep reaching out your hand。” this story honestly makes me so emotional。 i feel that the friendship and love between gwen, emerie and nesta hit me so much harder this time。 they truly are the sisters! i can’t wait for the next acotar book because i’m ready for elain and azriel’s story。 save the best for last am i right?

Outstanding! I LOVE these graphic audio full cast remakes of this story。 I loved hearing the story of Nes and Cassian again with so much more emotion。 The spice was SPICY, the anger was ANGRY and the love was LOVING。 Such an amazing job, I fully recommend listening to these if you are a fan of the ACOTAR series。

4⭐ for the book, same as my original review5⭐ for the audiobook。 Graphic audio is killing the game。 Top it all off with the fact that I've always much preferred the voice actor for Cassian over the guy who voices Rhys, and you have a winner。 The woman who plays Nesta is phenomenal, too。 4⭐ for the book, same as my original review5⭐ for the audiobook。 Graphic audio is killing the game。 Top it all off with the fact that I've always much preferred the voice actor for Cassian over the guy who voices Rhys, and you have a winner。 The woman who plays Nesta is phenomenal, too。 。。。more

Highly recommend the graphic audios for a reread, they're honestly super enjoyable。 Bruh。。。 Nesta is the baddest fiercest Archeron, idc。 idc。 idc。 And the sun broke over the horizon, as Cassian's knife plunged for his chest, Nesta erupted with the force of the Cauldron。There was nothing in Nesta's head but screaming。 Nothing in her heart but love and hatred and fury as she let go of everything inside her and the entire world exploded。˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖♡︎˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖♡︎˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧ Highly recommend the graphic audios for a reread, they're honestly super enjoyable。 Bruh。。。 Nesta is the baddest fiercest Archeron, idc。 idc。 idc。 And the sun broke over the horizon, as Cassian's knife plunged for his chest, Nesta erupted with the force of the Cauldron。There was nothing in Nesta's head but screaming。 Nothing in her heart but love and hatred and fury as she let go of everything inside her and the entire world exploded。˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖♡︎˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖♡︎˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖♡︎˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖♡︎˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖♡︎˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖♡︎˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖Just got book 2 of the graphic audio , of course I'll re-listen to book 1 as well。 Can't wait! "A Court of Silver Flames" by Sarah J。 Maas is a captivating addition to the "A Court of Thorns and Roses" series。 It focuses on Nesta Archeron's journey of healing and self-discovery after the traumatic events of the previous books。 The novel expertly delves into themes of trauma, resilience, and the power of friendship and love。 Maas's vivid world-building and complex characters shine once again, drawing readers into a richly woven tapestry of fantasy and romance。 While it may not surpass the "A Court of Silver Flames" by Sarah J。 Maas is a captivating addition to the "A Court of Thorns and Roses" series。 It focuses on Nesta Archeron's journey of healing and self-discovery after the traumatic events of the previous books。 The novel expertly delves into themes of trauma, resilience, and the power of friendship and love。 Maas's vivid world-building and complex characters shine once again, drawing readers into a richly woven tapestry of fantasy and romance。 While it may not surpass the original trilogy, this book offers an emotionally charged and steamy read that will leave fans eager for more in this enchanting universe。 。。。more

I enjoyed the first three books in this series but dragged a bit with the fourth and groaned at the fifth: A Court of Silver Flames。 An entire book about Nesta, the jealous, self-pitying and sniping sister of Feyre, the heroine of the Court of Thorns and Roses did not appeal to me。 If Feyre is Cinderella than Nesta is the ugly sister。 Not from outside but in character。 Journeying with Nesta as she grapples with her transition to the world of the High Fae and her descent into alcoholism, promiscu I enjoyed the first three books in this series but dragged a bit with the fourth and groaned at the fifth: A Court of Silver Flames。 An entire book about Nesta, the jealous, self-pitying and sniping sister of Feyre, the heroine of the Court of Thorns and Roses did not appeal to me。 If Feyre is Cinderella than Nesta is the ugly sister。 Not from outside but in character。 Journeying with Nesta as she grapples with her transition to the world of the High Fae and her descent into alcoholism, promiscuity, depression and bitterness was not an enjoyable read。 It took so long for her to make any progress I almost gave it away, I found her so irritating。 And although she eventually triumphed, it was a long time coming。 Furthermore, the plot was weak and Nesta's "sacrifice" of her powers, given the nature of them appeared to contradict the fantasy world the author had created。 Not the best of the series。 。。。more

I worried, I cried, to say I loved this book, this series is an understatement。 Not only a fantasy but the journey from self doubt to self realization, self actualization, and self acceptance & love for Nesta。 These very human manners of growth pull you along with the character and have you empathizing, angry, happy, sad, lost and the full emotional spectrum。 And just when all seems lost, the stars align again。
